NEUROPSYCHOMOTRICITY

WHAT IS NEUROPSYCHOMOTRICITY?
Neuropsychomotor therapy is a discipline that focuses on supporting children during the developmental processes of early childhood as they gain hands-on experience of actions, their outcomes, relationships with others and different forms of communication.
HOW IS A NEUROPSYCHOMOTOR ASSESSMENT CARRIED OUT?
Psychomotor assessment is aimed at children of developmental age who exhibit delays in psychomotor development, as well as behavioural, language and learning difficulties.
The session takes place within a clearly defined framework comprising time, space and rules, which the specialist tailors on a case-by-case basis according to each child’s individual progress. During the session, the therapist uses both verbal and, above all, non-verbal forms of communication.
These are body-based techniques that facilitate the process of integration between the various expressive and cognitive levels that underpin the development of identity.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A NEUROPSYCHOMOTOR ASSESSMENT?
