SPECIALIST CENTER
Vein Care Center
A center dedicated to the diagnosis and surgical treatment of venous system disorders, using cutting-edge minimally invasive technology to ensure optimal results and a rapid recovery.
OUR APPROACH
What is the Vein Care Center?
The METICA Vein Care Center is a specialized center dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of venous diseases of the lower limbs. The multidisciplinary team integrates expertise in angiology, minimally invasive vascular surgery, and phlebology to offer each patient a personalized care plan, from the initial visit to the most appropriate treatment.

Advanced diagnostics
Clinical and instrumental evaluation with latest-generation venous echocolordoppler

Minimally invasive treatments
Laser, radiofrequency, sclerotherapy, and biological glue techniques with minimal impact.

Quick recovery
Most treatments are outpatient, without the need for hospitalization.
WHAT WE DEAL WITH
Venous pathologies
The Vein Care Center treats all stages of chronic venous insufficiency and its complications, as well as thromboembolic diseases.
Chronic venous insufficiency with varicose veins of the lower limbs (all stages)
Telangiectasia and venous reticulum (venous aesthetics)
Superficial thrombophlebitis
Telangiectasia and venous reticulum (venous aesthetics)
Post-thrombotic syndrome
SPECIALIST CENTER
Diagnostics
The diagnostic process begins with a phlebological/angiological examination and ends with obliteration of the great and/or small saphenous vein.
Phlebology/angiology visit
Venous echocolordoppler of the lower limbs
Pre-operative venous mapping

HOW WE TREAT
Treatments
The treatment plan is always personalized based on clinical and instrumental evaluation. Definitive minimally invasive surgical treatment ensures immediate recovery of the patient's functionality.
* TOP TREATMENT
Endovenous laser simLa 5
The simLa 6 laser system represents the benchmark technology for the treatment of saphenous venous insufficiency. It acts from within the vein via an optical fiber, delivering laser energy that permanently closes the incompetent vessel.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and does not require surgical incisions. Patients can resume normal activities immediately.

Other treatments available
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
Thermal closure of the vein using a radiofrequency catheter. A minimally invasive technique with excellent long-term results.
Organic glue
Vein occlusion with biological adhesive. A non-thermal and non-chemical technique, ideal for selected patients.
Microsclerotherapy
Aesthetic treatment for telangiectasia and capillaries with microinjections of sclerosing substance.
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy
Ultrasound-guided sclerosing foam injection for medium-large varicose veins.
Ambulatory phlebectomy
Minimally invasive removal of varicose veins through microincisions. Performed under local anesthesia.
* The indication for the type of treatment is defined by the specialist for each individual patient, after careful clinical and instrumental evaluation.
